Les in Lebanon
March 11, 2018
Dear Faith Family,
It is Sunday and I look forward to worshipping with the folk here in Lebanon. We have had a very busy time the last few days and have gotten to see much of the work that Bechara and the other pastors are involved.
On Friday we visited a number of refugee families and saw first hand the struggles they face. They are generally housed in one room apartments and sometimes these families are large. Work is hard to come by and they are often not accepted by the communities in which they live. The church here has a ministry to a number of these families and it is proving to be quite effective. Please continue to pray for these very needy families.
I am off this morning to worship in Pastor Nadallah’s church and preach from his pulpit. I got to meet him for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful visit.
That’s it for now.

What a wonderful day of worship we enjoyed on the Lords Day. God truly blessed my heart as I gathered with the small congregation east of Beirut.
In the afternoon we visited the main church where the children were putting on a program for the refugee moms.
Today we worked with the children at the Clementine Learning Centre, a school run by the church for the refugee children.
Among the many things I have observed here, one that stands out is the heart of the church and the members desire to serve the Lord. They work tirelessly for the kingdom and I am pleased to be able to work with them, for the glory of the Lord.
